My sister just got married!
So much for trying to write this in chronological order, and waiting until I can link to photos….
This weekend was my sister’s wedding in London. As most of you know, she was marrying Obi who she has been together with for nearly nine years. The ceremony was good and the party afterwards was great. It was at an art gallery with delicious food and wine, live music etc. Lots of photos were taken of everything, but I don't have any yet, although I got to watch the wedding video with my Mum and Dad earlier!
The reception was a great opportunity to put names to faces, and there was inevitably meeting people I hadn’t seen for an incredibly long time. Including some very long standing family friends who I had only seen one other time in the last sixteen years (nine years ago). The sweet lady kindly informed me “I was talking to your mother about when you were conceived”……. ARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! The rest of what she said is too traumatic to recall.
